Sushia Project

As a Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator at Sushia, I worked to establish the brand as a healthy and delicious choice for customers.

This involved photographing actual sushi products and enhancing images to make them visually appealing. Additionally, I collaborated with key stakeholders to maximise brand exposure by ensuring these visuals were featured across shopping centre media screens, websites, and social media platforms.

What we do in this project

Our team created a visually engaging social media post to announce the reopening of Sushia stores after remodeling. Working closely with the sales manager, we showcased enticing images of popular dishes to excite customers and draw them back to the store. For those new to Sushia, the caption provided an overview of the diverse menu offerings. Additionally, we organised an in-store event at the shopping centre, where we ran sushi-themed activities and distributed 10% discount coupons as giveaways. At the request of the COO, I designed two versions of the coupon—one in a ticket size and another in a more compact, handheld format.

What was challenging and how we solved it

One challenge we faced was with the design of the small palm-sized gift voucher.

The COO requested it to be smaller than initially planned and wanted to include a lot of text. To solve this, we focused on emphasising the key elements: the "Gift Voucher" text, the "special 10% off" offer, and the "expiry date", ensuring these stood out clearly while maintaining a clean and concise design.
